Superstar Barbie debuted in 1977. She featured a wide, open-mouthed smile and a softer, friendlier look. Long blond hair is parted to one side. This 50th anniversary version models a glamorous, hot pink satin evening gown, complete with boa. Included in package is a reproduction of a glamorous fashion from the era, along with a reproduction vintage booklet. Finally, 50th anniversary collectible cards portray a vintage image reproduction on one side, and fascinating, little known Barbie fun facts on the back. Designed by Bill Greening.
