Malibu Barbie debuted in 1971. This doll solidified Barbie doll’s image as the quintessential sun-loving, California girl. This 50th anniversary version models a reproduction of the famed aqua blue bathing suit, completed with yellow towel and sunglasses. Included in package is a reproduction of the mod Lemon Kick™ fashion #1465 from 1970, along with a reproduction vintage booklet. Finally, 50th anniversary collectible cards portray a vintage image reproduction on one side, and fascinating, little known Barbie fun facts on the back. Designed by Bill Greening.
