Francie Repro 1967

55 years ago, Francie was the first Black doll released by Mattel, and paved the way for more Black dolls and dolls of color to be added to the line. We're honoring her groundbreaking anniversary with this vintage reproduction. Francie wears a kicky A-line striped dress with a hot-pink ruffle and matching gloves. Avid collectors may recognize this MODern outfit from the late 1960s as #1207, "Floating In." She also has the same features as the original doll, including a Twist n' Turn waist, bendable "clicky" legs, rooted eyelashes, and a "Genuine Francie" wrist tag.
