Rita Moreno (born Rosita Dolores Alverio on 11 Dec. 1931 in Humacao) is a Puerto Rican actress and singer. In a career spanning over 70 years, she has enjoyed success both on Broadway and in Hollywood. Moreno is one of the few artists to have won the Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Tony Award and Golden Globe, all of the most important prizes in the American entertainment industry.
